

Rosemary was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 28, 1926, daughter of Frank and Agnes (Dopke) Henning.
She died on April 11, 2022, at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab Center in Port Orange, Florida.
Preceding Rosemary in death, in addition to her parents, was her husband of 16 years, Henry Ellsworth Winslow; Brothers Robert Henning, Frank Henning, Donald Henning and William Henning; Sister Dorothy Karabin; and infant son Donald Scott Winslow.
She is survived by her sister, Suzanne Sullivan of Lemont, Illinois, and her three children – Julie (Jay) Morgan of Sugarloaf, PA; Mark (Terri) Winslow of Daytona Beach Shores, FL and Bruce (Donna) Winslow of Georgetown, TX. Rosemary was a single mother beginning at the age of 44 until her death at the age of 95.
Rosemary is also survived by numerous grand and great grand-children including the following grand children: John Morgan, Jessica Morgan, Jennifer Winslow, Ryan Winslow, Evan Winslow, Sean Winslow, Kristin Morgan, Kaci Kottemann, and Austin Kottemann.
Great grand-children include: Althea Pickering, Inanna Pickering, Jin Pickering, Athena Morgan, Angelo Morgan, Domenick Csaszar, Jack Nemeth and Henry Matthew Winslow.
After being widowed in 1971 Rosemary reentered the workforce and eventually found her calling working for the Florida Hotel & Motel Association in June of 1975. After rising to the position of Assistant Executive Vice President of FH&MA, she eventually retired at the age of 66 in June of 1993.
Rosemary will always be known to her family for her caring, tenacious, yet fun-loving personality. She was independent, and always loved being around her family. Her extended family was the source for her biggest laughs and her broadest smiles. Her presence and guiding hand will surely be missed by those who knew her best.
