Ruby M Stinnett

Ruby Martha Ann Stinnett died November 6, 2011. She was born July 17, 1915 in Maryville, Tennessee. She was married to the late David L. “Ted” Stinnett. She worked and retired from Asbury Acres in 1980.

Grandma, the Angel she is, loved most spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was famous for her cooking and she enjoyed gardening.

Ruby is survived by her daughter Martha “Lou” Morrissette, son in laws “Sam” Morrissette and Paul Schumacher, daughter in law Kathy Stinnett Dodson, Niece Marlene Walker and family. Grandchildren Stacey Sipila, Jeannie Pralle, Shawn Stinnett, Larry Morrissette, Sherri Weiner, Mark Schumacher, and David Stinnett. Great-grandchildren William Burdi, Jr., Sarah Pralle, Julia Weiner, Ruby Sipila, Chesney Stinnett, Samantha Weiner, Charlotte Stinnett, and Caity Stinnett. Step grandchildren Royce McAlister, Kim Jones, Mark McAlister, Steven McAlister and many step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted, son Wayne Stinnett and daughter Phyllis Schumacher.

The family will receive friends Thursday November 10, 2011 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A service will be held Thursday November 10, 2011 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Volusia Memorial Park 550 N. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach, FL.
