

Willard Charles Nix, III, known to all as Chuck, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 47. He will be remembered as a devoted father, cherished son, loving brother and uncle, and a man whose warmth and humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Chuck was a proud graduate of Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, the University of Florida, and Stetson University College of Law. His education reflected his dedication and perseverance, qualities that carried through every aspect of his life.
Chuck is survived by his beloved daughter, Callie Lynn Nix, who was the greatest joy of his life. He loved her beyond measure and spoke of her with pride and affection to everyone he met. He is also survived by his parents, Bill and Jeanne Nix of Palm Coast; his sisters, Kristin Walker and Jennifer Nix; his brother, Ted Nix and sister-in-law, Jenny Nix, and his former spouse, Jennifer Barrington Nix.
He was a devoted uncle to Ben, Henry, JT, Sofie, and Apollos, whom he loved dearly. Chuck treasured time spent with family, especially gatherings in Wisconsin and Massachusetts, places that held special meaning through his grandparents and family history.
Chuck had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed water skiing, jet skiing, walking, and hiking. A loyal sports fan, he enthusiastically supported the Florida Gators and the Orlando Magic. Dogs held a special place in his heart, particularly Betsy, his beloved golden retriever, and Lily, his energetic doodle who brought constant joy into his life.
Known for his kind heart and wonderful sense of humor, Chuck brought laughter and comfort to those around him. Above all, he will be remembered for his unwavering love for his daughter and family.
