Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Rouge Valley Health – Ajax on Tuesday, September 24th, 2013, at the age of 61. Devoted husband of Joan for 41 years. Loving Dad of Tanya (Steve) and Ryan (Melisa). Adored Papa of Morgan, Taylor and Sophia. Dear son of Elsie Ash (late Albert). Eldest of 7 children, Allan will also be missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at Rouge Valley Health. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, September 29th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at THE SALVATION ARMY (570 Thornton Rd.
