Antonia Bavaro

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, April 20th, 2012 at the age of 69, with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of Vincenzo for 50 years. Loving mother of Joe, Carmela (Serge Bruni) Anna (Sean Shaughnessy). Adored Nonna to Vincent, David, Julia, Michael, Laura and James. Dear sister of Anna Baccellieri (Nicola), Lucia (Vito), Theresa (Antonio), and sister-in-law of Frank Bavaro (Anna, deceased), Anna Bavaro (Peter, deceased), Maria and Vito DePalma (both deceased), Nunziella (deceased) and Guiseppe Priano. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Shattner, Anita and all staff in the Cancer Unit, Lakeridge Health Oshawa for all their care and support. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, April 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH on Friday, April 27th at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to Lakeridge Health Oshawa or the R.S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
