Arnold Cecil Daley

In loving memory of Arnold Cecil Daley, born May 22, 1939, son of James Daley (deceased) and Winnifred McGee (deceased) of St. Mary’s Road, P.E.I. Arnold passed away quietly on October 2, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Arnold was the eldest brother to Theresa (deceased), Leonard (deceased), Isabel, Madeline, Agnes, Vincent, Doreen, John, Mary-Lauretta (deceased), Gerard, James, Adrien and Paul. Father to Kevin, Jim and Scott and proud grand-father known as poppa to Steven, Amanda, Melissa, Kelly, Christine, Maggie, Adam and Sara. Married to Sandra (McCarron) for 54 years on October 29, 2014. Arnold proudly worked for General Motors for 37 years and retired on February 1, 1994. He will be fondly remembered for his quiet demeanor, his love of cars and everything car related. He was never happier than when he was surrounded by his grandchildren, he will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Monday, October 6th from 11:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
