Barbara was a passionate educator, guidance counsellor and school administrator, with over 30 years supporting high school students at Courtice Secondary School, Cobourg East Collegiate and Bowmanville High School.
Predeceased by her husband Sandy, Barbara was much loved and will be greatly missed her two sons, James and Christopher, and their families; her sister Sandy and Denis Cantin; the broader Bilton, Cox and Northey families, former colleagues from the Kawartha Pine-Ridge School Board; friends from the Retired Women’s Teachers of Ontario Northumberland-Durham South and the broader Durham Region community; and many others with whom she crossed paths.
Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life planned for a later date. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West(905-721-1234).
