Beatrice Jones Brown

Our much loved mom passed away on Sunday, January 23rd, 2011 in her 86th year, at home in Oshawa, surrounded by her family. She is happily reunited with her beloved husband of 57 years, Bob, who predeceased her in January 2005 and who she has missed ever since. Proud and loving mom to her four daughters and their husbands, Ellen (late Bruce McAnsh, September 2006), Edna (Kirk Clark), Elaine (Grant Hooper), and Elizabeth (Bob Byrnes). Nanny will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Laura Clark, Geoff Hooper and Dean Hooper, who she dearly loved and was so proud of. Sister-in-law of Fran Jones. Predeceased by her brother Dick Jones. Mom requested that there be no funeral or flowers. A remembrance celebration will be held on Thursday, January 27th at Bobby C’s Dockside Restaurant (70 Port Darlington Rd., Bowmanville). Please join us anytime between 3 – 7 p.m. Mom asked that everyone wear bright colours and remember the happy times we had together. Our family would like to thank Dr. Chopra, Bonnie and the staff at Glazier Clinic for years of caring. We appreciated the support and care provided to mom by staff of the Central East Community Care Access Centre and request that any memorial donations be directed to them at 920 Champlain Court, Whitby, ON, L1N 6K9.
