Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, April 15th, 2014, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Shields. Dear mother of Brian and his wife Mary Ellen, Brad and his wife Sarah, and Scott and his wife Nieve. Loving Gramma of Julie and her husband Tyson Perreault, Rachel and her husband David Gordon, Gillian, Emily and Courtney. Great Gramma of Jake and Josh Gordon, and Kaiden Perreault. Sister of Wilma Kingstone (Bill) and the late Ross Chalmers, and Sharon Malette. Predeceased by her parents Theodore and Mabel Chalmers. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, April 28th from 11:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Bev’s Life at 12:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care would be appreciated.
