To the Family I am very proud to have met such an amazing lady. I am also very proud to be the Mother in law of on of her sons. Even tho she had some hurdles to cross in her life she has done an amazing job with her boys. Carol will never be forgotten. She had smile that would light up a room, and a personality the drew her to may. You may suffer no more Carol, may you rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of Carol's passing, she always spoke of her family with much love and pride. She was a wonderful person with a big heart and will be missed by many at Universal.

Auntie carol! You will be missed, theres no doubt about that. You were always there for family, even when times were tough you always had an open door. I will miss your laugh, and your crazy sense of humour. I will miss seeing in general. Your 3 boys are the strongest men I've had the pleasure in growing up along side and proud to call not only my cousins but my brothers. My promise to you will always be as you had asked me too, is to always be there for your boys. 
Tom, my deepest condolences and hope in this time you will see how much our family values what you have done for our aunt/sister/grandmother/daughter. She always spoke so highly of you and was truly one of the happiest woman since you came into her life. We are family and will be there for you Uncle Tom.

Mom, I still wake up every morning as if it was a dream... I still can't believe you are gone... Going through all the pictures of you brought back so many memories... We will remember you for the positive, loving, caring, family oriented person u were but most of all for your strength... It saddens me that Carol who was such a kind, thoughtful person and truly wonderful woman should be taken from you, your family and our Universal family so soon.
Carol brought so much laughter to our lives that it is only fitting that with her now gone we are extremely sad. To know her is to love her. Tom you made the last years of her life the most wonderful because she always seemed so happy when she spoke of you and her boys and grandchildren too. Auntie Carol.... I'm so happy you found Happiness at last. I don't think I've ever seen your light shine so bright as when you met Tom. It sucks that you're on the other side now and you've left us all behind... but I guess now it's time for you to be hanging out with Granny and uncle sonny and the rest of the crazy Shinner clan. Anyway the lights just got a little dimmer at the Shinner table, as one of the brightest candles just got snuffed out. I am so very sorry to learn of Carol's passing. We had kept in touch over the years since we last saw each other in person and it was wonderful to hear of the joy that Tom had brought into her life. She wrote me many times that he treated her like a queen - and Carol deserved that. She was a wonderful lady and a great spirit. Her joyous times have been cut short here and I send prayers for strength and comfort for all her family. Carol will always be with you.

Words can't express how much we are going to miss you. Always so full of life, and such a positive energy. You will never be forgotten, and we know that you are at peace now watching over us. We love you

To Shawn and family....I am very sorry for your loss.  My daughter said it well with a farewell letter to her grandmother when she passed.  "Just because you don't see me, doesn't mean I am not there."  Your mother lives on in your hearts and memories.  You 3 boys are her legacy and she lives on in you.
