Charles Rowland MacNeill

(1922 – 2014 WWII Veteran)

Rollie passed away peacefully at The Wynfield Long Term Care on May 4th, 2014 in his 92nd year, with his loving family by his side. He has gone to be reunited with his loving wife, Gwenyth (Crabbe) (2003). He is lovingly remembered by his son Paul (Francine), daughters Cathy Pogson (Larry) and Jody Cockburn (Don). Loving Grandpa of Celine, Julie, Jamie, Nathaniel, Arianne, Erika, Adam, Steve and David. Great-grandpa to Jordyn, Lola, John and Tommy. Rollie will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Melda Campbell (Len) and late Olive Cutbill. Rollie was born in Nova Scotia although spent most of his adult life in Ontario. He carried a special place in his heart for Nova Scotia and P.E.I. where he still has loving relatives. Special thanks to the staff of both The Wynfield and Taunton Mills and to Dr. Jaciw and Dr. Roy for their excellent care. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, May 7th from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 8th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Groveside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or Charity of Choice would be appreciated.
