Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Ella Dias. Predeceased by parents Robert and Theresa, and his brother’s Omer, Robert and Daniel. Dear father to Shantel (Chris) and Jamie. Loving grandfather of Brayden, Shelby, Brooklynn and Myles. Sadly missed by nephews Shane Dias, Robert Dias, Bob Mckenzie, nieces Amanda Mckenzie, Kristen Mckenzie, Laurie Mayor, Danielle and Nicole Dias. Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Inga (Barry) Mckenzie and brother-in-laws John (Sue) and Bill Oleksiuk and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, April 15th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King St. E., Oshawa) on Monday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
