It's taken a year to be able to read all the kind and wonderful stories left about my Dad. I cannot thank everyone enough. He meant the absolute world to me and I miss him everyday.  Loved him to the bottom of the heart.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Clarence had passed away, he was truly one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of meeting. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Clarence in it. His smile, humour and kindness will be missed.

I was so very sad and shocked to hear of Clarence's passing.  I was a dear friend of his sister Angela, and I see a picture in the gallery of the three of us.  Clarence was a dear brother and Angela was so very proud of him and his work.   Angela and I went to visit him at his home, and I recall from the photo that Clarence and I (from NS) were at Angela's having an evening together.   So Sad!  I am very sorry for your loss - I am still at a loss over losing Angela, and now to hear about Clarence...so sad.  A gentle soul, and fine brother.

We just heard the sad, sad news of Clarence passing. He was such a sweet man who always had a story to tell and a quick wit about him. I'm sure you have wonderful memories that will hopefully help you through the days ahead.

We were very sad to hear about Clarence's passing.  I worked with Clarence on a construction project in Calgary in the late 70s.  We have lots of great memories of our times in Calgary. Clarence was a joy to be around he always brought a smile to your face. He enjoyed job and family and loved to talk about both.  It was a pleasure to have known him both personally and professionally. I am sorry I was out of country and missed his celebration of life.

Being around Clarence meant laughing. Feeling appreciated. Feeling exactly what being around a "kind soul" truly felt like. I spent the summer working for him at Durham College and it was a summer of laughter and happiness. He was a truly great person and the world is a lesser place because of his passing. My condolences to his family, who he never stopped talking about and loved with all his heart.

Sorry to hear about your father's passing. I knew Clarence when he lived in Calgary with his two brothers, Fabian and Harold. We all chummed around and had lots of laughs. He will be missed dearly.
