Claudette Marguerite Tourigny

It is with great sorrow that we must announce that Claudette passed away in the hospital with her family beside her on September 17th, 2023.

Claudette was a warm, loving and gentle soul with a strong faith in Jesus our savior. Claudette was the center and stronghold of our family. She was caring, supportive, peace keeping, non-judgmental, accepting and forgiving. She valued her family more than anything else in her life. She loved music, singing, playing cards, especially cribbage and had a good sense of humor. She loved to go on long drives to see the lights at Christmas and the fall colours. It did not matter what she was doing as long as it was spent with family.

All who knew her, loved her, and were blessed to know her. We love you and will all miss you so much.

Daughter of Henri and Georgette. Loving mother of Robert (Debbie), Gaetan (Shelly), Gabriel (Tanya), the late Dave, and daughter (stillborn). Beloved sister of Jeannine (Roland, deceased), Claude (Mona), Andre (Micheline), Pierre (Jacques), and predeceased by Jocelyn (Yvon). She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to be held at Clarington Lutheran Church, 1965 Bowmanville Ave, Bowmanville, Ont., date and time to be announced. Interment to be held at St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, date and time also to be announced.
