Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 in his 67th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Sharon (nee McQuoid) for 46 years. Loving father of Jason (Tammy) and Bradley (Shannon). Cherished Papa of Alex and Kiara. Dear brother of Ron (Marg), Ted (Muriel), Jean Essex, Gloria Foskett (Ron), Audrey Parish (Ian), Velma Johnston, Linda Malechev (Vic), Diane Gay and Arliss Gay, and predeceased by Earl, George, Ray, Helen Hayward, Ruth Gay, June Laverty and Doreen Jeffrey. Son of the late Cephas and Gertrude Gay. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, June 7th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, June 8th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
