David Alexander Lyons, age 59, of Oshawa, Ontario passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022. David was born April 13, 1962. Loved son of Marilyn and the late Donald Lyons. Dear brother of Mark Lyons. Loving uncle to Shauna, Alexander, Nicholas, Gregory and Robert and great-uncle to Jayden and Matteo. Dave was down to earth, sincere, and a self-less person. He truly had a great connection with animals and he liked to fish. He was an avid watcher of Indy 500 and Grand Prix and loved his sports channel. Dave always put his family first and to say Dave will be missed is an understatement.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W. Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Monday March 21 from 4 to 8:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the People Catholic Church, Oshawa on Tuesday March 22 at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
