RIP Mr Armstead .. Fond memories of life in north Oshawa and also the one and only Dad that made sure we had a drive home. ....instead of goodbye. I remember he always said " take care ". So to you Mr Armstead .. Take care and See you on the other side !

One of best memories I have of "Bummy" was that he often gave me a ride home after I had stayed for dinner at the Armstead's. I lived quite far away from their house and Doug always gave me a ride home and for that I am forever thankful! We have Bummy and your entire family in our prayers during this sad time. Dear Vicky and Family. 
Our condolences to you and your family on the loss of Doug.  He was a great guy and will be missed by many. Smiled at the picture of he and Bill.  Obviously having a shot of Drambuie!!  Our families had some great times together.

dear aunt vicky and girls: "uncle bummy"...oh for the old days. such laughter and fun. so many good times on taylor ave. years past. 1960 vicky and bummy took me with them out west. uncle bill's wedding in manitoba, then was dropped off in saskatchewan. lololo. i remember the trip vividly.(both ways)! godspeed bummy.
