Passed away peacefully on Friday afternoon, July 17th, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Whitby Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ruth (née Goldsmith), wonderful father to Sharon (Robin) and Susan (Don); Papa to Lindsay (Adam), Katie (Mike), Eric (Kristy), Danielle (Craig) and Great-grandfather to Finley, Parker, Jack and Baby Simpson. He was a kind, loving, thoughtful and generous man with a wonderful sense of humour who was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed. Thanks to the special staff of the Wynfield Retirement Home, Oshawa and the Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Whitby hospitals for their kindness and caring.
