Passed away at Thorntonview on Wednesday, September 25th, 2013, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Loving mother of Donna Brindley (Les), Preston, and Peter (Tracy). Cherished grandmother of Scott, Sam and Russ. Dear sister of June Churcher, and predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Stewart and Laura Hornby. Eileen will be remembered for her love of gardening and nature. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, September 29th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 30th at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Durham Region.
