Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on August 28th, 2015 at age 81. Predeceased by her loving husband Herbert (2002). Loving mother of Gabriella “Gaby” (Nelson), Richard (Tina) and Michael. Adored Oma of Eric, Misha, John and Emily. Elly will be forever remembered for her love of family and spending time with close friends. She will be fondly remembered by her longtime companion Otto. Memorial Service will take place at ST. GERTRUDE’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street East, Oshawa) on Wednesday, September 9th at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234).
