Elly Teunissen

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health in Port Perry on December 30th, 2016 surrounded by her family, Elly left us to be reunited with her lifetime love Bram after three decades.

Proudly remembered and loved by her four children and Oma to her twelve grandchildren;

Daughter - Cathy Elliott, her husband Mark, and their children, Cameron and Elizabeth

Son – Rick, his wife Cath and their children Nicole, Tasha (Steve), Angela (Joey) and Alex

Son – Brian, his wife Lynn and children Brent, Jack and Kate

Daughter – Jacqueline, her husband Mark and their children Julia, Cole and Aaron.

Elly was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her sisters, Tina (Alphonse), Greet (Jim), Hanny (Brian) and her predeceased brother Andre (Josee). After the passing of her husband Bram, Elly remained very close with her in-laws, Leny (Theo), Mientje (Bram), Hanny, Joop, Juul (Pearl), Montse, Zita and Mary Lou. Predeceased by Nellie, Nol (Joke ), Piet, Rich, Sjaak, Tiny (Adrie), Dave, Jan, Sjef and Jantje.

Tante Elly held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has occurred and visitation will be January 3rd from 7-9 pm and January 4th from 845-930am at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234)

The funeral will be at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH, 903 Giffard Street, Whitby at 10 am on Wednesday January 4th. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto in Elly’s name would be appreciated.
