Enrico "Eric" Montoni

Enrico "Eric" Montoni, age 51, of Oshawa, Ontario suddenly passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Eric was born September 27, 1970 in Oshawa Ontario. Eric was the cherished son of the Late Lorenzo Montoni and Benedetta “Bettina” Montoni (Tersigni). Eric was the brother of Silvana (Faiz) and Roberta (Joe), uncle to Zoe (Jessie) and Julia (Connor), nephew and cousin to many, all around the world and a devoted friend.

Eric enjoyed keeping a simple life, he often joked that he was born in the wrong era. His greatest passion was for music, he enjoyed listening to old music, only if it was played on record players, he was a devoted and long time fan of the bands, Rush and Kiss. Eric was an avid drummer and enjoyed creating music on his synthesizers. He was a generous old soul who enjoyed spending time and talking with his family and friends, buying, selling and collecting music memorabilia. He also enjoyed watching documentaries and old television programs. Eric will be missed by his family, extended family and friends. Eric’s family is extremely appreciative of all of your love, respect, thoughts, prayers, conversations and kind gestures given during this difficult time.

A visitation for Eric will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
