Peacefully at his home with family by his side on Wednesday, August 28th, 2013. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Flannigan) for 64 years. Loving father of Gary (Mary Innes). Proud and cherished grandfather of Jonathan and David. Survived by sisters Margaret Maher and Blanche Szekeres. Predeceased by brothers Bernard and Tom, and his sister Teresa Swan. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, August 30th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Saturday, August 31st at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Grafton.
