Giuseppe Calabrese

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, March 2nd, 2014 at the age of 88. Devoted and cherished husband of Angelina for almost 58 years. Loving father of Carmelo and his wife Giuseppina, Angela and her husband Tino Merlo. Cherished grandfather of Daniel and his fiancé Stephanie Buziak, Amanda , Anthony and his girlfriend Amanda Canto, Nicolas and Joseph. He will be missed and live on in the hearts of his sister Maria, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews in Montreal, USA, Italy and Australia. Family would like to thank all their friends, relatives, Dr. Barrettara and the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their care and support. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, March 6th, 2014 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH (91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby) on Friday, March 7th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. and entombment at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre.
