Passed away suddenly at home with his family by his side on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 90 years of age. Beloved husband of Carolina (Lina) for 62 years. Loving father of Erminio (Olinda) and predeceased by his daughter Leonarda (Anthony) Pallone. Nonno Joe will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Lucas, Sebastian, Joe (Andrea) and Joanna (Jhomar). Survived by his dear brother Luciano (Concetta) and predeceased by his brothers Oreste (Carmela) and Michael. Resting at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 846 King Street West (905-721-1234) with visitation on Tuesday, February 7th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street East, Oshawa) on Wednesday, February 8th at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
