I first met Greg Way back on the streets of OSHAWA even before he was a lawyer. He was one of the best people I knew back then and that’s why he became my lawyer. I kinda knew his sister a little bit and her husband, Brian. I even visited him the odd time when he lived off Wilson Road north. I miss you Greg and I think all the angels in heaven have gained a lot. Love you from your old buddy James Woolley.

Has it been an entire year since our loss? What a year of grief, growth and experience it has been. Greg would be very, very proud and pleased.

I was a part of Greg's life back in the 60s when a bunch of school chums played in a band which was comprised of Greg,myself,John Novak,Dave Cuthbert and Dave Clarke. I'm sorry that I hadn't touched base with Greg in the past as I moved from Oshawa in the early 70s to take up my new career. He will be missed.

I had Greg do myself a house transfere, and he made it so simple I could have done it..HaHa. Very down to earth, honest,and very throughough on hiswork Greg you will be missed,God Bless Brian Cranfield

I was shocked and saddened to just hear of Greg's passing. Greg helped me through some difficult times over the past 10 years. His professionalism, guidance and sense of humor will be missed. My deepest condolences and sympathies to his family. May he Rest in Peace.

We were completely shocked to hear of Greg's sudden passing. Greg was our Lawyer for years and always a pleasant treat to visit with. He recently helped us with the purchase of our new home and was so wonderful and helpful as always. He will be sorely missed by us, and all who were privileged enough to have met him!

We just heard the news of Greg's passing.  Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. Greg was our lawyer and our friend for the past 24 years. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Oshawa.  He was such a kind soul, he always had time for us, and always made us feel very comfortable when in his office.  For the last few years we were comparing vacation spots. We have many fond memories of Greg.  He helped us through so many difficult times.  He will be greatly missed by our family.

To Deb and family.  What tragic news to hear of Greg's sudden passing.  He has positively impacted so many people's lives, in so many ways, as evidenced in part by the dozens of tributes.  He was a true gentleman, who was so giving and eager in interacting with many people in so many facets of his rich life. 

We feel privileged to have first met Greg with you, Deb, in Antigua which was one of your favorite places.  And it was interesting hearing all of his insights about the Leafs and his decades of watching them... (and silently weeping for them).

I met Greg almost 30 years ago when I was a young court reporter.  I ran into him a few months ago at the Tim's at the Oshawa courthouse and had a great visit with him.  He had such a calming and gentle personality.  He was a true gentleman.  He has left his mark on all of us.  He is missed.

Greg supported me at a time when my life was upside down. He gave me the strength to get on with my life. For this I will be always grateful. It is a sad loss for us all.

We first met Greg in '78 when he was building his law practice and have valued his friendship ever since.  Through life's ups and downs he gave the most expert legal advice but more importantly Greg was a supportive friend with a gift for reassuring that all would work out for the best.
