Dearest  Natalie, Adrienne, Jason, and Justin and your families, It is with sad hearts that we extend our deepest sympathies to all of you with the passing of your beloved Dad and Gido. Your Dad was not only a special brother, brother-in-law and uncle to my family but he was also a close friend/buddy, roommate  and working colleague/boss. He set an example for all of us as to always look at life, people and events optimistically and positively. Hank was always generous, unselfish, dependable, reliable and loyal as a friend and buddy.  We missed his cheeriness and bubbling personality when he left home in Edmonton to go East to work for his former employers in Edmonton. Visiting Hank and Sally and the family in Oshawa over the years was always a highlight of travelling to Central Canada. Visits by Hank and Sally and the family  to our home in Edmonton was always enormously enjoyable resulting in very little sleep since there was so much to talk and reminisce about.  We are very disappointed and saddened by the fact that  the trip to the south to enjoy the sun and friendship  we were planning for the last few years never materialized and the plan to come to Edmonton where he was going to stay at my home and have use of the vehicles also never came to past. Hank, you and your beloved wife Sally are now together in Heaven and both of you will always be missed by all of us; we will always remember and cherish our millions of wonderful memories of the both of you and all the joys you gave us.. Brother-in-law and `buddy` John Myroon, sister Millie Myroon, nephew John Jr (JJ) Myroon, niece Monique and her twins Peyton & Trent.

Dear Natalie, Adrienne, Jason, and Justin, and families,

Your dad was the first person we knew who came out East to make his home. Then he married and my life long friend, former closest neighbour, became the next to make the East home. 

When Sean and I arrived from Vegreville, Alberta in 1973, your family was our touch base to 'back home'. We consider ourselves very fortunate that your parents invited us to share in your family events as this enriched our lives with the many wonders of friendship and love. 

Those experiences are wonderful memories. Some of which are the memories of your parents sharing child rearing tips, of trips to Ontario Place, to High Park with very young kids, dinners at the Chizen family home where the cuisine was always very yummy, their visit to my home in Vegreville, Chizen family weddings and christenings of astounding beauty.
