Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, December 20th, 2014 at the age of 73. Beloved wife of Wayne for 38 years. Loving sister of Bruce (Sharon) and predeceased by her sisters Irene (Darcy) and Joyce (Bob), and her brother John (Margaret). Cherished Aunt of 3 Nieces and 6 Nephews. Dear best friend of Marion Paulette for 30 years. Iona will be sadly missed by her loving dog Sam. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, December 27th, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.
