Passed away with family by his side on Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Gloria, recently celebrating 50 years together. Loving father of Laurie, Emily Harrison (Mark), and Dana Schidowka (George). Cherished grandfather of Scott Hutchinson, Stephen Harrison, Eric Harrison, Gloria Schidowka, Avalon Schidowka and Julie Schidowka. Dear brother of Bill (Barbara) and Betty MacLachlan. Jim was cherished by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, February 8th from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. and Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
