To Tim, Beth, Laura & Sarah - I'm so sorry to hear this and my heart goes out to all of you.  I did not see a lot of Jane myself over the years, but my Mom (Margaret (Walker)  Gladwell, who died in 1993) always had great stories of the summer vacations she shared with her cousins (which of course included Jane) up at Coulsen, Ontario!  Her relationship with her cousins continued throughout her life and was always very important to her - especially not having siblings of her own.   Am thinking of you all during this tough time. Dear Tim, Beth, Laura and Sarah - Thank You all so much for sharing Jane with me as a wonderful friend for almost 39 years. Our hearts are so saddened here, but we also know that God needed Jane in Heaven and so he called her home. She truly has eternal life there. Jane was a lady devoted to her family, friends and faith. She was generous in heart, in words and in the way she lived her life. Her hospitality knew no bounds and she was God's blessing to all of you as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-g. Our treasured memories of Jane will live in our hearts forever.

Dearest Tim and Family,
Words cannot express the sympathy that is in my heart at the passing of beautiful Jane.  There are so many wonderful memories of time spent with your family....the favorite one of mine was spending Thanksgiving at Whispering Pines.  What a beautiful get-away retreat that is.  Jane doted on all of us with her special recipes..then shared them with all of us!  She kept Tim organized and her family to some degree.  I'm know that all of you will miss her organizational detail for everything she was involved in.  And she was so proud of her girls and now her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  The last time I saw Jane was when I was going to my grandson's graduation in CT and I stopped in Oshawa to catch up with special friends.  Of course, she cooked a couple of dishes ORANGE MARMALADE CHICKEN and I took home the recipe and have served it on special occasions...,several times!!  We'd always have some good laughs and maybe even a glass of wine (for old times sake) OR OLD TIMERS SAKE!!  Now this year, I was just about to tell Jane and Tim that I am coming to Ontario again.  This time to go to my first grandson's wedding in NY.  I think I'll be there around the last week of June, so am looking forward to catching up with Tim at that time.  To Jane's gorgeous girls, I'm just reminding you to always think of the wonderful times with your mom and talk about them as much as you can.  Thinking of all good things, puts you in a wonderful frame of mind and speeds up the mourning period.  Know that your dad loves you and will be there for YOU through this difficult time.
