Jeanette Shearon

June 21, 1925 – September 1, 2011

Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Remembered lovingly by her husband William and her two daughters, Diane and Donna. Loved Grandmother of Kimberly (Bruno), Seann, Melissa (Paul) and Great- Grandmother to Olivia, Dylan and Connor. Dear sister of Ann (Carl), Vic (Marilyn), Terry (Mary). Predeceased by her parents Katie and Edward Kennedy and her siblings Cecilia, Edward, Marguerite, Francis, Al, Agatha, Mary and Delores. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their children. Jeanette had so many friends and pen pals over the years. She loved her Muskoka cottage and later her Florida home. Jeanette (Jan or Jenny) loved family gatherings, to dance, hear a joke, and to share family photos. Jeanette was a very proud Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She will be missed by all her family and her dear friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, September 7th from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, September 8th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeanette to the Hospital for Sick Children or The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
