Unexpectedly at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Saturday, July 21st, 2012, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Miller. Loving mother of Heather Gibbons (Chester) and Randy (Laurie). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Robert (Michelle), Kelly (Dave), Madison and Myles, and by her great grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Curtis, Allysha and the late Josh. Dear sister of Lorna Handy (John), Walter Gourley (Loretta), Gracie Labbe (Raymond), Pat Gourley (Cathy) and Diane Thomson (late Andy). Predeceased by sisters Helen Valade, Hazel Savord and brothers Edgar Gourley and Kenny Gourley. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, July 25th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 26th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
