Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013, Kathleen May (Kay) Holbrook (nee Weeks), in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Edward Holbrook. Dear mother of Judith (Jerry Manilla) of Oshawa, Lynda of Brechin, and Deborah (Garth Johns) of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren, Christine (Adam Fraser), Laura (John McLeod), Lee Simpson (Michelle), Jay Simpson, Julie Johns, Andrea (Douglas Short) and Heather Johns (Phil Walsh). Dear great grandmother to Nathan and Emily Fraser; Megan and Gavin McLeod; Zachary and Lauren Simpson; Connor and Calvin Simpson; Chad Andress; Meredith and Keaton Short. Predeceased by her brother Aubrey Weeks and her sister Irene Hallowell. Kay was an avid 5 pin bowler, and bowled in the TV Ladies League for over 55 years.
