Laura was a graduate of Sheridan College and had a banking and finance career that spanned 35 years. As a Senior Administrator, she spent the last 15 years with EQ Bank, where she was highly respected for her professionalism and unwavering dedication.
Laura was kind and generous. She was a devoted companion to her twin sister, Leanne, and a steadfast source of support to her mother. Laura enjoyed her weekly Euchre nights with groups of friends and found great joy in family celebrations and annual gatherings with her many beloved cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Laura is survived by her mother, Diane McEachen; her sister, Leanne McEachen; her brother, Paul McEachen (Stephanie); her sister, Maryellen McEachen (Brian), and dear family friend, Lorraine Huinink-McNamee (Kirk). She was a cherished aunt to Sydney and Reagan. She is also lovingly remembered by her Scottish family: James Reekie (Danielle) and Rachel Reekie (Greg), as well as her great-nephew and great-niece, Adam and Hannah.
