It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our daughter Lauren on Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, at the age of 11 years. Loving daughter of Sarah McDonald and Kevin Carr (Chelsea Russell). Cherished sister of Wyatt and predeceased by Logan. Dear granddaughter of Deborah McDonald, Brian McDonald, and Kim and Linda Carr. Sadly missed niece of Jared McDonald (Kim), Brianna McDonald, Cassie McDonald, Jenn and Jeff Campbell, and cousins Colton, Hailey, Carson, and extended family and friends. Thank you to Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Hospital for Sick Children, Durham Medical and especially St. Theresa Catholic School. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, October 15th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 16th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery.
