Suddenly at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, January 8th, 2013, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Bonura) of 54 years. Loving father of Rose Del Gatto (Mario). Cherished Nonno of Antony (Alicia), Angela (Christopher) and Leonardo (Sarah). Predeceased by his brothers Leoluca and Salvatore. Survived by his sisters-in-law Leonarda and Angela. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Carlo Bonura and also survived by his sister-in-law Benedetta Bonura. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 10th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH (91Ribblesdale Dr., Whitby) on Friday, January 11th at 10:30 a.m. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Lung Association.
