So sorry  to hear of your Mom's passing. We went to the one room schoolhouse in Aspen, back in the 1940's. I never saw her again until my sister Millie passed away in Oshawa & she came to the wake---I knew it was her when she walked in the door---it was so good to see her! I have fond memories of your mom from the times spent being at your house in Oshawa and a few times up at your cottage.

I know I haven't seen her for many years but Mom & Dad (Theresa & Ben) would mention Lois fondly when talking about their Oshawa friends. I know Mom wishes she could be there but needs to stay to care for Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Gayle, Gary and Family:
We received a call this weekend from one of our Oshawa friends and were saddened to hear of Lois's passing.  Your Mom was always a lively person and sharp as a tack.  Once when we were passing through Oshawa about four years ago and had stopped at the mall, Ben was sitting outside of Sears while I did some quick shopping and even though he was probably the last person your Mom expected to see, she recognized him right away and stopped to chat.  She will be missed by family and friends alike as all will have great memories from time spent with her.

While scanning through the paper i noticed your Moms obit.  Our sympathy is  you, as we know the pain of losing our Moms. We will  pray for Gods peace for you, and the family,  at this time of earthly sorrow,  and urge you to take comfort in the fact that this is not the end, and you will see  your Mom again in that place where there is no more suffering, pain and death.

I bowled with your Mother 7 years ago.  We were on the same team.  She always had a welcoming smile and a positive attitude.  We laughed a lot.  I went with her & some ladies to Casino Rama & out to the GM Centre on New Years with her.  I've never laughed so much.  We were kindred spirits.  We never did get to travel together.  Her love of life & Sears? were infectious and inspiring.  I had no idea she was the age she was.  She lived life to the fullest!!!  I hope to follow in her footsteps.

Gary, sorry for your loss. I know how much influence a mother has on her children that keep them safe and on the right path. Your mother must of been a great lady to have such a successful family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Oh Gayle, I am so sorry for your loss.  What an awful coincidence, I saw your Mom's obituary while looking for my Dad's this morning.  My thoughts and condolences to you and your family.
