Marion Thelma Hart (Baxter, Alpin) September 27, 1926 - July 24, 2021

Peacefully at her home, with her daughters by her side, Marion has been reunited with her son Tom (1978) and beloved husband Bob. After 67 phenomenal years of marriage, this past year was so difficult for her without him. We know she is at peace to once again be by his side. She also joins her first husband , Jack Alpin who passed only a year into their marriage in 1952.

Her loving ways and generosity will be greatly missed by her daughters Kathy (Jack Brigden), Oshawa, Barbara-Ann (Colin White) Naperville Il, granddaughters Elisabeth White , Vancouver, Meredith White, Ottawa.

A long time resident of Oshawa, she was awarded the Fannie Hislop award upon graduating grade 8 from Center Street Public School. On to OCVI then to General Motors to support the war effort. She continued her career as a wonderful mother while supporting her husband in the running of their own business, York Sales Agency. Her love of socializing and never hesitating to take on a challenge endeared her to many. She so enjoyed playing bridge. As a member of the Oshawa Golf Club, playing with the “Ladies Rebel” group was so important to her. Thanks to all for always including her in your activities long after her golfing days were over. Her love of the Casino and all the winnings they provided gave her and Bob many days of enjoyment. They never missed a freebie. Marion will be greatly missed but leaves this earth having lived a very full and loving life.

A family graveside service is planned for the near future. Details for a celebration of life to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation or the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at www.oshawafuneralhome.com

Kathy, Barbara Ann and families,
I can’t find enough kind words to say about Marion, although there was an age gap I considered Marion as one of my closest friends. She always had time to listen to your problems or stories and really would change my day with just a smile. Marion holds a very special place in my heart.

Marion's love of life added such a Special part to the lives of those around her who were fortunate enough to call her our friend. Marion was open, direct, humorous and she wove us into her life with her unwavering caring, sharing and support. We are sad that we missed our last planned Wine Tasting on the Patio but we are glad to have so many fond memories and great stories of Marion and Bob . Although they are gone their memories will always bring smiles to our faces. Rest in Peace and we know that you are together again.
Our deepest condolence to Kathy, Barbara-Ann and families

Marion lived life to the fullest! She loved to socialize and her smile was infectious…we golf girls admired her desire to keep playing as she grew older…she rarely missed our informal “wine meetings” after golf and our dinners to celebrate the beginning and end of the season.
She and Bob were a happy couple and proud of their girls and family. We will miss her. Cheers, Marion and Bob, love from the Lowe’s .

Marion and Bob added alot of joy to our lives in Oshawa and Ellicott ville. Marion hospitality was super 👌 . Ron my husband worked with Bob in financial planning. We went on many trips to various conventions and M arion and Bob were always fun to be with. They were young in spirit and always up for a good laugh
Marion and Ron both 💘loved to gamble and had great luck. She was fun to be around. She was alway very positive and caring. We know that family was so important to her especially her two grand daughters as she loved to talk about Elizabeth and Meredith. They had a special place in her heart ❤ We miss you Marion and condolences to the whole family
