Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, March 31st, 2013, in her 94th year. Survived by her husband Vernon of 63 years, her son Rodney (Patti), her two adored grandsons Jason and Tim, and her sister Verna. Predeceased by her eldest son Vernon Roy Douglas, her brothers Clarence, Harold and Roy, and her sisters Hazel and Edna. Thank you to the doctors and nursing staff on 7C for their excellent care. Special thank you to Trish for her care and compassion. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, April 4th from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Rosemont Memorial Gardens, Peterborough. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or St. Stephens United Church.
