Oriana Pettorossi

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Oriana Pettorossi, who passed away with her loving family by her side at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, Ontario, on February 14, 2026, at the age of 77.

Oriana was predeceased by her husband, Domenico, with whom she shared 36 loving years of marriage.

She leaves behind her cherished children, Tina (Chris) and Frank, and was a proud and loving Nonna to Anthony (Mercedes), Noah, and Kennedy. Oriana will also be deeply missed by her sisters Mary, Phyllis (Vince), and Lucy (Fernando).

She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Teresa (Mike).

Oriana will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Oriana was a selfless and humble woman with a loving heart. Her family and grandchildren meant everything to her, and she was incredibly proud of them. She cherished the companionship of her cat, Sammy, who brought her comfort. She found joy in tending her garden and was known for her easygoing and gentle nature.

In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to the Red Cross, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Sick Kids Hospital.

Visitation for Oriana will occur at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4 on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and at 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral Service for Oriana will occur at St Mary of the People, located at 570 Marion Ave, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 3B9 on Thursday, February 19th, 2026, at 11:00am

Interment will occur following the service at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, located at 355 Taunton Road East, Whitby, Ontario L1R 3L4 at 12:30pm.
