Peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016 at 71 years of age. Beloved son of the late Jack and Doris Hickerson. Husband of the late Marion Currie. Cherished brother of Mary (John) Goody, the late Reta (Paul) Dawe and Lois Hickerson. He will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephew Lori Depaepe, Julie Jex and Matthew Goody, extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the GATEWAY COMMUNITY CHURCH (470 Ritson Rd. S., Oshawa) on Wednesday, June 29th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Church at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).
