KARBANYK, Peter Gregory (Retired General Motors – 33 years) Passed away, after a brief illness on Monday, September 17th, 2018, at the age of 58. Loved son of the late Gregory and Mary. Loving husband of Shari. Dear father of Patrick, Nickolas, Christina (Chuck), Katie (deceased) and Greg. Loving grandfather of Charlotte and Xavier. Sadly missed by his sister Gloria and her husband David Sarookanian. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the doctors and staff of Huntsville District Memorial Hospital and Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for the care, kindness and compassion extended to Peter and his family during this difficult time. Specifically we would like to acknowledge and thank the nurses on the second floor medical wing and Dr. Tobi Gepraegs. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 20th from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Cemetery in Courtice. Memorial donations to the Autism Society would be appreciated.
