Rachel Scott Allan was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on February 6 1918, and was called home to heaven on July 15 2021, in her 104th year. Beloved wife for over 63 years to the late John Allan. Our parents married in 1942, and immigrated to Canada in 1950. Survived by two daughters Jeanette Hanton (Gary deceased) and Pamela Liddiard (John), Grandmother to three, great grandmother to six and great great grandmother to two. Rae was a devout Christian and professed her life to Christ at an early age. Rae enjoyed baking and gardening. After retirement her real love was going to their cottage in Haliburton where she would swim in the lake and identify and feed the birds.
