Reta Mills

Reta Ellen Adelaide Mills, age 73, of Woodstock, Ontario passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Reta was born August 6th,1948. Cherished Mother to Alan Brock, Bradley Mills (Angela) and Michelle Boctor (Steve). Predeceased by her son Doug and her daughter Theresa. Adored Nana of Christa, Jakob, Katelyn (Clayton), Nathan (Maddy), Mikey, Julianna, Christina and Lauren. She was a wonderful sister to Margaret, Keary, Gordon (Debbie), Ellen (Douglas), Linda (Timothy), and her sister in-law Glenice Reid. She is also predeceased by her two brothers Donald and Lucky Reid.

Reta was a strong Christian woman, returned now to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Reta loved spending time outdoors, appreciating the simplest beauties in life. She had a generous soul, and she cherished spending time with her family. She was a hard worker and she never gave up, always striving to learn something new. She loved her family fiercely, was friendly, warm, welcoming and always had a good story to tell you over and over again.

Reta will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. The family appreciates all of your prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time.

A visitation for Reta will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM for immediate family and 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM for family and friends at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West. A funeral service will occur following the visitation from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The Interment will occur at Thornton Cemetery immediately following the service.
