Ronald Allan Kay

of Oshawa passed away peacefully at the age of 59 with family by his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Friday, October 14th, 2011, due to complications of a stroke. Ron will be missed by mother Eileen Kay, (predeceased by father Ross Kay 1979); brothers Dave (Brenda) of Janetville, Dan (Lynn) of Haliburton and Jim (Karen) of Oshawa. He is remembered as a great uncle by nephews and nieces Jason (Candice) Kay, Pontypool; Jennifer (Mike) Yeo, Madoc; Kelly Kay (Cody Mills), Haliburton; D.J. Kay, Haliburton; Jake Abel, Katie Kay and Karrie Kay, Oshawa. Also missed by great niece Charlotte and great nephews Caleb and Evan; and Hayden. No funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to invite all of our friends to attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday, October 23rd at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, 471 Simcoe Street South, Oshawa from 1 – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society.
