Ronald (Ron) Robinson

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Friday, May 16th, 2014 at the age of 79. Loving husband of Sharon. Loving father of Brad Harper (Krystal), Ralph Robinson (Lori), Gene Robinson (Terri) and Ron Robinson (Laurie). Adored grandfather of Ronin, Jackson, Rebecca, Adam, Samantha, Katie (Marshall), Matt, Alycia, Alana and Brandon (Kiri). Ron is also great grandfather of Jordyn. Ron will be missed by siblings Bill (Pat) Robinson, Marranne (Gord Jubenville) Dale Robinson, Lois (John Van Driel), late Helen (Bernie Brauer) and Donna (Bob Martin). Ron will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ron will be best remembered for his construction business, Ron Robinson Ltd. that he established in 1958. He was truly passionate for building his business and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Ron enjoyed retirement by travelling the world with Sharon and most recently many trips to Florida. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, May 21st, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, May 22nd at 11:00 a.m. As per Ron’s wishes memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for CNIB or Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care.
