Mary Myslik passed away on Saturday February the 3rd, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She survived World War II, cancer, heart disease, and Covid. She loved the Blue Jays, days by the water, telling stories, and stealing her children's fries. She said she was "dainty and petite" but her presence in the lives of her friends and family was anything but. She knew how hard and how beautiful the world can be, and she was ready to be there with you through both. In the arms of the angels she has gone to be with her daughter Maria, her husbands Joe and Ralph, her big brother David, best friends Kay, Bea, and Anne, and many others. She is survived by her sons Peter and Jamie Myslik, Peter's wife Rhonda and their children Kaetlyn and Kristen, and Jamie's husband Joel, and their children Kevin and Isabella; her grandchildren: Felicia Brunelle and her children Byron, Mary, River, and Joey; Anastacia Chartrand, her husband Mathieu and their children Margo and Eloise; Carissa Brunelle, her partner Darcy and their children Mason, Miia, Ronin, and Kairi; and her "other daughter" Michele Migus, her husband David and their children Samantha and Thomas; and Massimo Cineli and Maria Teresa Perri, and their children Marisa and Mateo; and her sister Barbara Frew, and her children Doug and Kelly, Lorna and Scott (Stephenson), and Jon and Brenda.
Mary's memorial service will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, February the 17th at 1:30 PM. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at the following link: https://pickartphoto.com/stream/MaryMyslik/
