Peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Robert William Hanoski. Loving mother of Robert (Deborah), Donna (Todd) and Wendy (Scott). Cherished grandmother of Trisha, Kara, Jack and Dante. Adored great grandmother of Zander. Sammi will be fondly remembered by her uncles Donald and Frank Frauts and dearly missed by many, many other extended family and friends. Sandra retired form Whitby Hydro Electric commission, then pursued a 10 year child care career. She had a zest for life and was the voice and the glue of the family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, February 12th from 6 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 13th at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted to the Durham Humane society.
