Amy J. Mountz

Amy Jeanne Mountz, 60, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Amy was born August 13, 1963 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was a graduate of Elmhurst High School, attended Ball State University, and worked as a critical care nurse for the Veteran's Administration, retiring in 2023. Surviving are her father Meredith Esterline of Yoder, IN; brother, Gordon (Linda) Esterline of Mooresville, IN, father-in-law, Lucian Mountz of Decatur, IN; sister-in-law, Shelly (Ruben) Garcia of Rockledge, FL, brother-in-law, Jesse Mountz of Decatur, IN; and nieces and nephews, Carson Garcia, Cora Garcia, Roman Garcia, Ben (Jennifer) Esterline and Katie Esterline. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley (Sontchi) Esterline in 2020; and her husband, Michael Anthony Mountz in 2007. Visitation for Amy will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, Indiana 46777, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM, including the Nurse's Honor Guard.
