

JACK KREIGH, 92, of rural Roanoke, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Wells County, Ind. on June 24, 1921. He worked as lead man/ machinist retiring in 1977 from Dana. He also worked as a farmer, and in later years, continued his passion with gardening. He was a member of Ossian First Presbyterian Church, and an active member of the U.A.W. He is survived by his daughters, Roxie Bole and Suzanne (Edward) Ehinger, both of Roanoke; five grandchildren, Bettina (Terry) Whittington, Bradley (Tish) Bole, Trent (Jo Corle) Ehinger, Kylee (Jason) Bennett, and Erick Ehinger; and four great-grandchildren, Dillen, Joel, Braydan, and Emalee. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Phyllis (Roebuck) Kreigh in 2013 and his mother, Hope Kreigh Mills. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian (IN 46777), with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Parkview Continuing Care Center or Ossian First Presbyterian Church.
